Obituary For Mr. David Carmichael

David Charles Carmichael was born on May 8, 1953 in Dillon County, South Carolina to the late K.D. Carmichael and Virginia Hayes Carmichael. Dave slipped into eternity on Friday, March 2, 2018 at McLeod Hospital in Dillon, South Carolina.

David was a life-long resident of Dillon County and was educated in the Dillon County schools system.

Although we are grieved by your passing, we bow in humble submission to the will of God, who never makes a mistake.

David leaves to cherish his memories ~ his beloved companion: Viola Drake; three daughters: Ashly Drake and Avis Drake of the home, Torey Brown of New York; three sons: Maurice Robinson, Damian (Likicha) Drake of Dillon, SC and Donte Brown of New York; seven grandchildren; six brothers: Archie (Laura) Carmichael of Fair Bluff, NC, Daniel, Ivan, Lawrence (Tessie), Paul King (Linda) Carmichael, Joseph (Jeanette) Brown all of Dillon, SC; five sisters: Mary Ann (Jerry) McRae, Janice Lidge, Lucinda (David) Peppers, Sophia (Cornelius) Gause and Lindora (Louis) Wheeler all of Dillon, SC; special friends: Kenneth Greer, Hezikiah Drake and Lorie Johnson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends he’s made over the years.

Our condolences to the Carmichael family. Soon the resurrection will take place. All sickness and pain and death will be know more. The promise of the resurrection is sure. John 11:24’25 Jesus said “ I am the resurrection and the life” buy mean of Jesus Jehovah has promised the resurrection hope and it will come true. He can not lie. Again our condolences.

To the Carmichael family, May you all find comfort in the Bible’s promise of a time when we will be reunited with our loved ones again. Revelation 21:4 tells us that one day, “death will be No More”. John 5 28,29 tells us that “all those in the grave will come out......”. Just as I look forward to being with my departed family members, I know you feel the same.
