Mr. Charles Witherspoon, 57, of Augusta, Georgia departed this life on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. Mr. Witherspoon was born on March 21, 1964, in Lancaster County, South Carolina. He was the son of Clarence Witherspoon and the late Jessie Williams Witherspoon. He was born on March 21, 1964, in Lancaster County South Carolina.

Mr. Witherspoon was a 1982 graduate of Lancaster High School.

Left to cherish his memories are his father, Mr. Clarence Witherspoon of Lancaster, SC; six brothers and sisters, Timothy Witherspoon of Coleman, Florida, William Witherspoon (Tina) of Columbia, SC, Joyce Heath (Willie) and Melodey Witherspoon both of Lancaster, SC, Cecilia Witherspoon of Rock Hill, SC, and Janice Witherspoon of Charlotte, NC; five aunts, Ruth Waldon of Silver Spring, Md, Mabel Louise Witherspoon of Washington, DC, Dorothy Lee Witherspoon (Ray) and Clara Hayden both of Lancaster, SC and Josephine Singleton (Herbert) of Charlotte, NC; one uncle, Tommy Thornwell (Beverly) of Charlotte, NC

Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2021, at White Oak A.M.E. Zion Church in Van Wyck, SC. Funeral Service will be conducted by the Rev. Dr. Vincent Meekins and Reverend Harold Jones with burial in the church cemetery.

Viewing will be Monday, August 9, 2021, 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. at Stewart Funeral Home.
