Obituary For Carlton Fields

Graveside services for Carlton Jerome Fields, 62, of Bradenton FL will be held 11:00 am Saturday, August 21, 2021 at Beautiful Gate Baptist Church with Reverend Gilbert Hill officiating.

Carlton Jerome Fields was born April 15, 1959 to Clarence Fields Sr. and Dall Allen Fields in Bradenton, Florida.

He graduated from Bayshore High School in 1977. During his time at Bayshore, he played baseball and football and was affectionately known by the nickname “Mango”. Carlton later went on to start his 30 plus year career as a machinist at Tropicana. He played on their softball team, settled in Palmetto, Florida and later retired in 2016. He loved to watched old timey movies, western television shows and sports.

He entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, August 3, 2021.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Ray Fields, Aretha James and David Fields.

Carlton leaves to cherish his fond memories, his daughters: Chrystal (Jason) Hunt of Ruskin, FL and Makayla Fields of Palmetto, FL; a son, Marcus Fields of Palmetto, FL; three grandchildren: Jamal Dixon of Jacksonville, NC, Janiya Hunt and Daniel Hunt both of Ruskin, FL; a brother, Clarence (Lynn) Fields; a sister, Janice (Thomas) Fields; two stepbrothers along with other step-siblings: Virgil Pearson and Vincent Pearson; two aunts: Rosa McGraw of Fort Wayne, IN and Alma Allen of Allendale, SC; special friends: Steve Parks, Alton Graham, Ron Oats, Michael Blalock and Carlos Delesline; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.
