Obituary For Lillie Bell Thompson

Lillie Bell Thompson was born on January 7, 1948, brought into the world by Cora Mae Robinson.

Lillie joined Travelers Rest Church at an early age and was baptized by the late Rev. Clark. Later in life, she joined Christian Liberty M.B. Church.

She graduated from Tipton Bobcat School and went on to nursing school in Astoria, Oregon. After completing her course work, she became a nurse at Monfort Jones Hospital in Kosciusko, MS and stayed there for 25 years.

Lillie married Leo Thompson and gave birth to three wonderful sons: Christopher Nash, Craig Thompson, and Cederick Thompson. They were married for over 48 years.

Lillie leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Leo Thompson; two sons: Christopher Nash and Craig Thompson; three sisters, Teresa Robinson, Katherine Robinson, Sharon Weathers; and one brother Roosevelt Truss and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

She lives in the hearts of the ones she touched. Nothing loved is ever lost, and we all loved Lillie Thompson so very much.

I have some wonderful aunts and Aunt Lillie was definitely among one of my favorites. As the years went by and we (the kids) all grew up, I didn't see her as much, but she was always in my heart. My prayers go out to Uncle Leo, Chris & Sedrick. We love you all very much. Your niece & nephew - Shderia & Jason Thompson and Family
