Obituary For Issac Hart

Isaac Stafford Hart Jr., known as Staff to all who knew him, he was born on September 8, 1932 in Valdosta, Georgia where he resided and completed his secondary education. Upon graduating, he joined the United States Army as an infantry soldier and served at Fort Benning, Georgia and in Korea. He met and married his lifetime partner Joan Ruth Hart, in April 1959 and they remained together for 62 years until his demise.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Isaac Stafford Hart, Sr. and Hannah Gertrude Hart, an infant daughter Hannah Gertrude Hart, and siblings, Dorothy Voriece Hart, Arthur Leslie Hart, Annie Pearl Henderson, Ruth Helen Hart, James Inman Hart, Howard Owen Hart, Parrie Bernice Love, Zoreda Gertrude Harris, and infant brothers Granvel Rollin Hart and Calvin Lorenzo Hart.

He leaves to mourn his passing his wife of 62 years, Joan Ruth Hart; three sons, Garry Lenoir Hart(Odell), Christopher Richie Hart, and Stafford Isaac Hart; eight wonderful grandchildren; a brother Ralph Ezekiel Hart; an aunt: Queenabell Killins; four sister-in-laws: Mary Lois Hart, Gloria Meekins, Dorothy Sharp, and Mildred Jackson; a brother-in-law, Walter Meekins, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Mr. Hart was a Prince Hall Mason and an associate member of his family generational church, Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Valdosta.

Home going services for Mr. Issac Hart will be held Saturday, August 28 at 12 Noon Crossing Jordan Baptist Church with Minister Garry Lenoir officiating. Public viewing will be held on Friday, August 20 from 2:30 P.M. til 6:00 P. M. and Thursday, August 26 from 9:00 A.M. til 5:00 P.M .and Friday, August 27 from 9:00 A. M. til 6:00 P.M.
