Michael received Christ and was baptized at an early age. He joined Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Pompano Beach, Florida, under the leadership of Reverend C. Pete and Pastor Anthony Burrell.
Michael received his education from the Broward County School System. He was a member of the Boy Scouts of America. Michael was a proud graduate of Blanche Ely High School “Class of 1968”. He continued his education at Florida A&M University (FAMU), and pledged Kappa Alpha Psi. Michael was on the swim team while in college; he earned a place on the wall at the Fort Lauderdale Florida, Hall of Swimmers. Michael graduated from FAMU in 1974 with a bachelor's degree in Engineering. He received a certificate in real estate through Century 21 Management. Michael was enlisted in the United States Air Force 1974, and he was honorably discharged from active duty as 2nd Lieutenant/Officers Trainee.
Michael worked in the Broward County School District as a teacher, with Centex Rooney as an Estimator and was a skilled craftsman in Masonry.
Michael was joined in holy matrimony to his loving and faithful wife Senita Clarise Rolle on November 7, 2010, later they moved to Albany, Georgia.
After a long fighting battle, Michael succumbed to his illness on August 13, 2021, at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. He was preceded in death by his parents: Daniel and Mattie Miller and his brother Hiram Miller.
Michael leaves to mourn his loving wife Senita Miller. Her children whom he received as his own: Darius Edward of Tampa Florida; Ornell Edwards (Tasha) 3 Children, Leroy Edwards (Sabreka) 1 child; Terrance Edwards 1 child; Tiberias Edwards 2 children and a god son, Tenika Hall (Katrell) 3 children, Crystal Edward 2 children; whom he loved and cherished very much. His brothers: Ira Miller (Hesper) of Pompano Beach, Florida; Bruce Miller, of Saint Augustine Florida; Vaughn Miller of Atlanta Georgia; Daniel Miller (Karen) of Pompano Beach FL.; David Miller of Pompano Beach Florida. And one sister Ayanna Miller of Pompano Beach FL.; A nephew who revered as a son Ryan Johnson. And a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and special friend who will miss his presence.
