Miss Lucille, as we affectionately called her, was a dear friend of my parents (the late Claude & Maggie Shannon). I remember going over to her house with my Mom as they went out shopping and I had to kneel down to straighten the seams in her stockings. She was an elegant woman, regal in every sense and I was in awe of her as I watched her and my Mom put on their gloves, folded the handkerchiefs and placed mirror compacts inside of their purses. Rest in Heaven Miss Lucille and I know my Mom is happy to see you🙏🏽🙏🏽😘😘
