The Life of Lurante Lockette Lurante K. Lockette, known as "Ronte" a.k.a "Big Redd", was born on January 22, 1974 at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. He attended Thomasville Heights Elementary School, D.H. Stanton Elementary and Harper High School. After school he worked and supported his family business, Mary's Bail Bonding for many years. As a young adult he enjoyed socializing and fellowship in the Central Methodist Community then proceeded his adult years with fellowship in Thomasville community and most recently Jonesboro/Forest Park community.
His unorthodox ways, smile and big heart attracted many and left a mark on anyone he came in contact with. He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother Joyce Lockette, his Grandmother, Mary Lockette; three sisters Juanshe Horton, Sasha Lockette, Takiya Coachman; two brothers Traveous Lockette and Antonio Coachman. Also one daughter Taynisia Lockette, two sons Lurante Lockette Jr., Demetrius Jarrett; niece (like a daughter) Tyanna Horton; step daughter Deonica Davenport; Aunt Pat Lockette; two uncles William Lockette Jr., and Wayne Lockette Sr. and a host of nieces and nephews that he loved so dearly.
