Obituary For Doris Green

Mrs. Doris Green of Griffin passed on August 8, 2021. Memorial Service for Mrs. Green will be held in our chapel on August 28, 2021 at 1:00 pm. All attendees must wear a mask while our seats 400 which allows for social distancing.

Obituary: Doris Denine Green was born December 24, 1979 to Sandra Green in Atlanta, GA. She was a graduate of Franklin High School, and moved from Cleveland, Ohio, in June 1989. She was blessed to have two children that she loved dearly. She was employed by FedEx warehouse as well as many other places to ensure her children were well taken care of and provided for; they were her top priority. Doris rededicated her life to Christ on August 1, 2021 and was a member of Salvation and Deliverance Church Atlanta presided over by Pastor D.A. Willams and First Lady Alexis Williams. Doris was non-confrontational, level-headed, kind hearted, always had the best advice, maintained a positive, joyful attitude and was loyal to friends and family. She learned to make a way out of no way, and never gave up. Even during her battle with Breast Cancer she remained strong willed, independent, and giving. Doris loved seafood, taking pictures and making TikTok videos with family and friends. She quietly passed away on August 17, 2021, at 4:15pm in Griffin, Georgia. She was surrounded by family and friends and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. Doris leaves to cherish her memory her children Da’shaquan Green and Iyanna Green (Griffin, GA). Blessed be the ties that bind – Her mother, Sandra Green. Her siblings John Green, Cheryl Ann Green, Kimberly Green, Keisha Green and many nieces and nephews. Doris’s generous spirit, pleasant personality and dedication to her family and friends will forever be missed

You were,was, and will always be an inspiration to us all. Through all your battles, you still smiled, kept God first and checked on others. We never met in person though I feel like I knew you a lifetime, maybe this was Gods plan, because loosing you as a friend is one thing, but loosing you as my Queen would have been something I couldn't handle. You were always so nice to me which shows no one is s stranger to you as long as they are genuine. Fly High Queen you deserve your rest.
