Obituary For Jesse Eugene Palmer, Sr.

A Public Viewing in honor of Mr. Jesse Eugene Palmer, Sr., will be held Friday, August 27, 2021 from 1:00-5:00PM at Cedric D. Clark Memorial Funeral Home. At the request of the family there will be no funeral service. Mr. Palmer, 93 of Meridian passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 24, 2021. Due to COVID-19, everyone attending is required to wear masks and adhere to social distancing.

Coach Palmer as he was known to us even though he taught Math and algebra which I had the opportunity to be one of his students. He was a man of integrity, love,compassion, wisdom, knowledge that he didn't mind sharing it with us to help us to get the best education possible. I remember all the times after becoming adult so many times I got a chance to go visit and PRAY with him which he always welcome the prayer that was spoken it was a blessing to have this awesome man that made a great impact in my life who was always willing to help so Coach Palmer take your rest . It hurts my heart to say farewell to Mr Palmer. I remember when I last saw him he was in the store. I so graciously spoke and in return he spoke with a smile. I thanked him then because he set a great example for my generation. He was a man of wisdom, character, and love for the people. He is a true icon for Meridian. God has gained a wonderful servant.
