Mr. Tyrone Lester, 50, of Tifton, Ga. transitioned this life on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at Tift Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 03, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Oakridge Cemetery. (YOU MUST WEAR A MASK).

Public viewing will be held on Thursday, September 02, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Southview Mortuary (Tifton location). YOU MUST WEAR A FACIAL COVERING to enter the facility.

Mr. Tyrone Lester, was born June 22, 1971, in Tifton, Ga., the Late Ms. Diane Lester.

Tyrone was life long resident of Tifton, Ga., where he attended school in the Tift County School System. He graduate from High School Class of 1990.

After graduating from High School Tyrone joined the United States Navy where he served his country.

He was a loving and caring person. Tyrone enjoyed time with his family and kids. Helping others was a passion of his, he would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Tyrone was an advent football fan, he loved FLORIDA STATE UNIVERSITY AND GREEN BAY PACKER were his favorite teams.

Tyrone was proceeded in death by his Mother: Ms. Diane Lester; his Grandmother: Ms. Thelma Lester; and his Nephew: Tyler Johnson.

He leaves to cherish his memories his Children: Layton Lester, Tyra Lester, Carmelo Boyd, Becca Lester, Tyree Brown and Khalani Ty’Asia Alexander; his Siblings: Michelle Lester, Tracey Lester, Stacy (Angela) Lester, Detina Lester, Derek Jones, Tarsha Thomas, Tonya Cobb, Janet Thomas, Sabrina Dumas, Demonica Felton; his Nieces and Nephews: Joshua and Joi DeShazer, Zoutia McGriff, Shatara Farley, Shamari Lester, Leah Marshall, Rashad Mc Griff, Anna Smith, Myia Smith, Anthony Lester and Victory Douglas; his God-mother: Bettye Jean Cromer; his God-father: Lester Cromer; his God-daughter: Sa’Dymond Jordon; Special Friend: Markell Strawter and Precious Jefferson; two Friends: Xavier Holt (Boo) and Kenny Holliday; and host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
