Obituary For Evelyn Watson

Evelyn Watson Tiller “Bobbie Jean” Homegoing Services for Evelyn Watson Tiller, “Bobbie Jean”, who was called to eternal rest on August 15, 2021, will be held Saturday, August 28, 2021, 1:00 p.m. at Riverhills Church of God, 6310 Sligh Ave, Tampa, FL, 33617 Rev. Ryan Sharpe, Pastor with Rev. Carnell Upshaw, Pastor of Covenant Catalytic Church, Tampa, officiating and Rev. Joseph Sykes, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church, eulogist. Interment will follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Evelyn Watson Tiller was born on November 5, 1936, in Kinzey, Florida to the late Otis and LouElla Watson. She was the oldest of three girls born to this union. She attended schools in Limestone and Lake Wales, FL and was a 1954 graduate of Roosevelt High School. After graduation Evelyn lived in Waverly and Arcadia, FL for several years before moving to Tampa, Florida where she met Augustus Tiller and they settle there to raise their children. She worked for a Dry-Cleaning Business, Jack’s Cookie Company and Maas Brothers Warehouse before retiring. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age and was a longtime faithful member of Macedonia M.B. Church, Tampa, FL. She was preceded in death by: Her Parents; Otis and Louella Watson, Daughter; Lavon Arline, Granddaughters; Cynthia and Sadji Arline, Great Granddaughter; Katrina Sanders. Evelyn was a quiet, easy going, thoughtful, kind-hearted woman and a loving mother. She enjoyed church, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. She leaves to cherish her memories: Children; Stanley Watson(Tina), Romero Watson, Cassandra Watson(Isadore), William Tiller(Mazola), Terry Lee Tiller, Annie M. Davis(James), Brenda Baxter(Joeann), Grandchildren; Stanley Robinson, Jannie Murray, Kishi Burrows(Shamar), Jeffrey Watson(Kayla),Tiffany Rucker(Michael) , Tanisha Watson, Reginald Watson, Dionta Watson, Tasharia Tiller, William Tiller Jr, Terri Tiller, Tamera Tiller, Ezell Foster, Annette Cephas, Cleatrice Arline, Candace Tiller, Jason Bethea, Elroy Williams, 26 Great Grandchildren, 14 Great Great Grandchildren, Ex-Daughter-In-Law; Sharon Monroe Tiller, Sisters; Gloria Jean Watson and LouElla Collins-New York, Aunt; Ora Mae Green-Maryland, Uncle; Samuel McCullough(Hazel)-New York, Nieces; Robbie Johnson, Tawanda Johnson(Elton), Nikki Brown, Shelia Williams Anthony), Nephews; Marshall Watson, Andrew Collins, Rodney Collins, Antoine Collins; and a host of other relatives. The visitation will be held Friday, August 27, 2021, from 6pm-8pm at Macedonia M. B. Church, 3410 E. Wilder Ave, Tampa, FL. FACIAL MASKS ARE REQUIRED FOR BOTH SERVICES. The family and friends are asked to meet at the church on Saturday no later than 12:45 p.m. A SERVICE OF INTEGRITY
