Graveside Services for Mr. Makerrian D. Gay, Sr. age 49 of Anniston will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery in Anniston, AL with military honors. Mr. Gay passed away on August 22, 2021 at Regional Medical Center.

Mr. Gay graduated from Anniston High School in the class of 1991 and was a retired member of the 2025th Transportation Unit Army National Guard with 24 years of service.

He was employed with Alabama Power for 20 1/2 years. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife of 21 years, Zadie Gay; children Makerrian Gay, Jr., Shakerrian Gay, Marcia Jackson, Jamicia Gay, Jalen Bush; his mother; Patricia Adair; Father; Jesse(Elaine) Smith; siblings; Toya Gay, Annethra Gay, Charmin Gay, Carnel Smith, Christopher Smith, Alfonso Sistrunk, LaTonya Andrews.
