Nathaniel "Dilly" L. Hawthorne, Jr., 65, of Richmond, died August 26, 2021. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathaniel Sr. and Sarah E. Hawthorne and sister, Phemie Ragsdale. Surviving are his wife, Imogene D. Hawthorne; two daughters, Natalie Hawthorne and Iesha Hawthorne; two grandchildren, Brianna Hodges and Darin Brown, Jr.; sister, Ellen Wright; other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Scott's Funeral Home, 115 E. Brookland Park Blvd., where viewing will be held Sunday from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. There will be no service.
