The clock of life is wound but once and where it stops noone knows. Death came on hushed footsteps and set the spirit of Eric O. Fields free at his residence. Eric O. Fields, 60, husband of Sandra Williams Fields, and a son of the late Ovella Hazel Fields and Eddie Fields, Sr., was a native of Pocotaligo, SC. He resided most of his life in Pocotaligo. He attended the local public schools. Eric was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Pocotaligo, where he served as an usher. While he had many talents, he was known for his culinary skills and was a master chef.

He shall be sadly missed by his family and community.

Visitation: Tuesday, August 31st, 5-7 pm in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home.

Graveside Service: Wednesday, September 1st, 11:00 am, Frampton Cemetery, Campground Road, Point South, SC.
