Guest Book

Shirley was definitely a bright light in the world. She's one of the strongest women I've ever met, and she will continue to be an inspiration to me and all who met her. I will truly miss the time I spent with her, but will remember her laughter and how much she strived to reach out to others and make life a little better for everyone she came across. I will always remember her strong faith, and I take comfort in knowing that she's now with her son, who she loved and missed more than words can describe.

Thank you to her family for sharing this beautiful soul with us! She was a light during dark and good times. She taught me many lessons, held my hand, and shared herself with me, and everyone she met. Dawn Chappelear

I've only known Shirley for a few months but not a day went by that she didn't make me smile. She made me feel like I was family. And she loved my kids. I would bring them in every now and then and she would always stop what she was doing to come play with them. Wendys will not be the same that is for sure.

To the family of Shirley Hughes. You have my deepest sympathy. Shirley was my neighbor for several years and a close friend. She was a joy to be around and my dog loved her. She would stop to play with my dog on her way home from work. We will miss her very much. Gertie Griffin and Fancy.
