Funeral services for Rosie Mims,76,of Renova, MS will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 1:00 PM at New Jerusalem M. B. Church, Mound Bayou, MS with burial following in New Jerusalem M. B. Church Cemetery, Mound Bayou, MS under the direction of Johnson and Scott Mortuary, Cleveland. She died Saturday, August 28, 2021 at her home.

ROSE leaves to cherish her memories: Two sons, Dennis (Essie) Mims, Cleveland, MS; Wayne (Karese) Mims, Stockbridge, GA; Delois (Harvey) Green, Renova, MS; and Denise Mims-Nash, Summit, MS; Two (2) sisters, Odessa Gray, Brookline, MA and Mary Alice Keys, Chicago, IL; One (1) Brother, Leslie Gray, Denver, CO; Thirteen grandchildren: Djuan, Demario, & DeAngelo Green; Anthony Mims, Dennis Mims, Jr., DeMarcus Foster; Britney Grace, Kayla & Brandy Mims, Emmett Manley, Victoria, William & Julia Nash; 30 Great Grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; A Very Special Friend/Companion, Rev. James A. Sills; A Special God Son, Mr. Joe Green; Special Cousins, Ms. Ruth Jennings-Wells and Ms. Margie Harrington, whom she talked to almost daily.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 3, 2021 from 2-5 PM wit family hour from 5-6 PM at Johnson and Scott Mortuary.

Rev. Dr. Wayne Derick Mims will officiate.
