Obituary For LaTray Wilford

LaTray Wilford was born in Gainesville, Florida on September 29, 2011 to parents, Shan’Trevia Wilford and Bobby Wilford. He attended William D. Moseley Elementary School. He enjoyed watching YouTube and cartoons while his favorite was Paw Patrol. He loved his family and relished playing with his siblings. LaTray became an Angel in Heaven on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at Wolfson Children’s ER in Fleming Island, Florida.

LaTray was preceded in eternal rest by his mother, Shantrevia Wilford; brother, Domontra Wilford ; grandfathers, Greg Hall and Herschell Blackmon; great-great-grandmothers, Lola Bell Robinson and Lugene Word.

He leaves to cherish his memories: Father, Bobby Wilford, Jr.; Sister, Brandi Wilford; Brothers, Ty’Shawn Wilford, Kevin Wilford, LaTrell Wilford, Bobby Wilford, III.; Grandparents, Denese and Lewis Jones, Sharon and Terri White, Bobby Wilford Sr.; Aunts, Lillian Moore, Diajah Davis, Jasmine Taylor, Katrivia Jackson, Katrina (George) Floyd, Barbara Ann Wilford; Uncles, Reche Williams, Leroy (Kimberly) Owens, Domonic Owens, Marvin Passmore, Jarimy (Misty) Passmore; great-grandparents, Marion Cobb and Pastor Ruth Murry; Great-uncle, Fred Fuller; great-aunts, Lilly (Robert) Session, Tracy Newkirk and a host of cousins, other relatives and friends.

The Wilford family will receive friends and the community from 6-7 p.m., on Friday, September 3, 2021 at The Emerge Church of Palatka – Elder Leo A. Parker, Pastor| 1015 Washington St. Palatka, Florida 32177. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3 p.m., on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at The Emerge Church of Palatka. Masks are required.
