Annie Martin Dejournette, 67, of Eden, died August 27, 2021. Public viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Perry Spencer Funeral Home, Eden, NC. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8,2021 at Hamlin Cemetery, Eden, NC.

A beautiful woman with a heart of gold who kept us all so close. A shiny light from our lives was gently picked from the garden on August 27, 2021, a beauiful flower that God needed and carefully picked from the garden. There are no "Goodbyes" from us as you will always be in our hearts and one day we will meet again. We will remember your walk with God, the good ole days, the glee, the laughter (Oh, the Laughter), the traditions no matter how small. We will remember the big hugs, the Chocolate cakes, the sweet potatoes, you'd fry, and even the "GRITS', your elegant style, your love for "Purple", Your angelic voice whenever you snag and the joy, love and happiness you gave whenever you enter a room without even saying a word. REST IN PEACE our dear loved one, our dear sweet Annie. Thanks from all of us for what you've done. JOB WELL DONE!
