DEACONESS, MARY SUE (DAWKINS) THOMPSON (Age 98) Peacefully passed away on Thursday, August 19,2021.

She leaves to cherish her memory children, Joseph, Jr. and Alvin E. (John). She is also survived by four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives; church family and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 1, 2021, 10 a.m. until time of service 11 a.m. at Horton Funeral Home, 600 Kennedy Street N.W., Washington, D.C. 20011.

Interment to follow at Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
