Obituary For Leogia Hunt

Leogia "Blacky" Hunt the fourth of ten children, born to the late Clarence & Cynthia Hunt on August 22, 1941.

He lived in several states until making his home in Mississippi. He worked many years in Construction until his retirement.

He accepted Christ at an early age and rededicated his life to Christ, and became an active and faithful member of Mt. Moriah M.B. Church until his death. He departed his life August 27, 2021.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his children; Otis Wade Veasley of Milwaukee, WI, Javonna Wallace of Ontario, CA, Nivea Hunt of Phoenix, Arizona, Aayiah Hunt of Chicago, IL; Redricke (Debra) Hunt of Pasenda, CA.

Sisters: Coaillie "Ida C" Nicholoson, Sylenthia Smith, Terressie Clark all of Kosciusko, MS and Levonia Hunt of Chicago, IL and one brother; Rev. John Louis Hunt (Throlas) of Kosciusko, MS and one sister-in-law, Jerlene Hunt of Kosciusko, MS.

His mother, Cynthia; father, Clarence; sister; Shirley Barksdale; brothers; Louis, Leroy, L.D. Leoba (twin) all preceded him in death.

PLACE OF GRAVESIDE: MT. Moriah Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS
