Obituary For Melissa Tucker

Melissa Francel Tucker was born in Dover, Delaware on September 10, 1979 to Willie Mae Tucker and Eddie Williams. She received her education in the St. Johns County School District. Melissa was a loving and caring contractor for many years, and received her nursing degree in Simpson county. Melissa was devoted to her soulmate Ricky McMillian and was “The Rock” to her loving family.

In addition to her father, Melissa was preceded in eternal rest by her stepfather, James, Wesley; brothers, Eric Tucker, Errick Tucker and Calvin Wesley; sister, Sophia Wesley; aunts, Dorothy Hayes and Patricia Williams; uncles, William Tucker and Haymon Boyton; stepson, Terrell Moore; brother in law, Dennis McMillan; godbrother, Travis Hall.

Melissa leaves to cherish her memories a devoted mother, Willie Mae Tucker; soulmate, Ricky McMillan; devoted granddaughter (like-a-daughter), Jimaya Mack, like-a-daughter, Stephanie Douglas; stepchildren, Sieda (Tim) Seymour, Amanda Moore, Maxine McMillan, Tywon Bond; like-a-son, Donnell Wesley; sister, Evonski (Larry) Tucker, Pam (John) Tucker, Lavetta (Craig) Neal, Sabrina Bouie (Kenny); brothers, Willie Varnes, Eddie Williams, Tracy Williams, Myron Moore, Ardell Williams (Rena), Kenneth Stevens and Richard Robins (Renja); aunts, Lula Mae Jones, Francina Stuckey, Irene Blackmon, Elizabeth Davis, Brenda Baskin and Catherine Boyton; uncles, James Tucker, Raymond (Barbara) Tucker and Terry (Georgia) Tucker; sis-in-law, Trina Wesley, Diane McMillan, Debra Williams and Nettie Roberts; brother-in-law, Pete Douglas, Richard (Samathia) McMillan, Milton McMillan and Jack McMillian; 12 grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

There will be a public viewing 6PM-7PM Friday, September 10, 2021 at Pompey's Temple, 611 Pompey Miller St., Hastings, Fl 32145. Elder Randall Chestnut, Pastor.

Celebration of Life graveside services will be 3:30PM Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Pattersonville Cemetery - East Palatka, Florida on County road 207A near the intersection with Carter-Crabtree Road.
