Sarasota - Robert Phillips, 77, of Sarasota, FL, passed away on Aug. 23, 2021. Visitation will be held from 6:00pm-8:00pm on Fri., Sep. 3, 2021 at Jones Funeral Home. Services will be held 1:00pm on Sat. Sep. 4, 2021 at Light of the World International Church. Burial will be held at Palms Memorial Park.

Robert "Bud" is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Louise; seven daughters, Tina, Terrica and Yolunda, Lisa, Myrtle (Doug) Douglas all of Sarasota, Florida, Maryann (Mike) of Bradenton, Florida and Tashia McGriff, of Arlington, Texas. A son, Robert Lyons and a bonus son, Steve Butler; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Miss Louise and family I just found out last night that Robert passed away I'm very sorry for your loss. You were wonderful neighbors for some reason my kids did not tell me I had to find it for myself last night on Facebook. Please take care I think about Robert a lot and what a great guy he was what a wonderful neighbor he was you all were the greatest neighbors anybody would ever want to have.
