Graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. EST, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, Phenix City, AL with Pastor Wil Thomas, officiating. Visitation will be Monday, September 13, 2021 from 1-5 p.m. EST.
A Time to be born: William Streeter was born September 3, 1969 in Columbus, GA to the late Patricia Hardman. He is also proceeded in death by his sister Andrail “Ann” Amaya, an aunt Marth Jean Cox, and a cousin Kierra Cox.
A Time to plant: Confessing Christ at an early age, William was baptized at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church located in Seale, AL, where he was a faithful servant. He was a dedicated family man where he spent most of his time making others laugh and didn’t know a stranger. William’s heart was so big that he didn’t mind sharing it everywhere he was given the opportunity. He worked at Kemira Chemical Inc. for 4 years as a custodial facilities operator where he was loved and honored for being a dedicated team leader. In 2000, William became passionate about bowling where he was a part of his very first league “Saturday Just For Fun”. Over the years William became family to several different leagues in the Columbus, GA area. His most recent league would be called the “Thursday Night Blues” in which William acquired the name “5th Pin” meaning he wasn’t able to hit that fifth pin. The league will dedicate that 5th Pin at the end of the bowling league in April of 2022, in honor of William. He will be truly missed by many.
A Time to die: On Thursday, September 2, 2021 , William answered the call of his heavenly Father and departed to his eternal rest;
A Time of peace: Cherishing his memories is a Loving grandmother who raised him from birth, Mrs. Jessie Mae Streeter of Phenix City, AL; Former spouse Kathryn Streeter of Phenix City, AL; one son: Quaderius (Lasondra) Streeter of Columbus, GA; one granddaughter: Jordyn Streeter of Columbus, GA; two nieces: Patricia Ann Hardman, and Latricia Andrail Hardman; both of Columbus, GA;,; one nephew: Walter Trey Battle III of Columbus, GA; two great nieces: Na’imah Hardman & Na’ilah Hardman both of Columbus GA; five aunts: Shirley Diggs of Houston, TX, Pastor Cheryl (William) Thomas of Phenix City, AL, Barbara (Freddie) Farley of Columbus, GA, Linda (Danny) Phillips of Seale, AL; four uncles: Willie Lee Streeter, Jr. of Phenix City, AL; Roosevelt Streeter of Detroit, MI, Eddie Streeter of Alexander City, AL, Charles Streeter of Columbus, GA; four great aunts: Laura (Elijah) McKissic, Queen (James) Allen, Dorothy Daniel and Betty Jean Daniel; one great uncle: Roosevelt (Sarah) Daniel; A host of Cousins: Vorocker Daniels of Jacksonville, FL; Craig (Ivy) Daniels, Christina Farley; Miranda Cox, Amanda Cox, Latasha Cox all of Columbus, GA; Timothy (Baschala) Streeter and Robert Cox of Phenix City, AL; Theresa Streeter of Alexander City, AL; Jaey Brooks of Phenix City, AL and Shanekqua (Christopher) Thomas of Hinesville, GA;; relatives and friends.
