Obituary For Monica Wilson Harris

Monica Harris was born on March 1, 1974 to Judy Jefferson Wilson Spikes and the late Robert Wilson, Sr. in Fort Pierce, Florida. She was raised on faith and love, taught in Bass Temple Church of God in Christ. She attended Fort Pierce Westwood High School where she graduated, Class of 1992. She dedicated 23 years of employment to McKesson as an accounts receivable clerk.

Monica met and married the love of her life 31 years ago, Courtney Harris, Sr. This love union has lasted and will continue for more than 28 years, with an upcoming anniversary of September 11th. From this union came two beautiful children, Courtney Jr and Cournecya Harris.

Monica was a loving and cheerful soul. She had an appreciation for the finer things in life and an unwavering love for handbags. She carried herself with the ultimate grace and poise. One of her top goals was to win the lottery and bless her family & loved ones with gifts. Unconventional and unique; she was the epitome of a woman.

I had the pleasure of working with Miss Monica at Beals Outlet for over 2 years. She was one of the most gracious, caring, loving woman I have ever met. She spoke so highly of her family and was so proud of her kids. She had wit and we shared lots of laughs. I am going to miss her greatly. She was a gem. Condolences to her family. Carry her memory with you.

Family, May you see God's light on the path ahead when the road you walk is dark. May you always hear, even in your hour of sorrow, the gentle singing of the lark. When times are hard may hardness never turn your heart to stone, May you always remember when the shadows fall — you do not walk alone. FPC C/O '74
