Obituary For Henry Wilkins

Henry Wilkins of Polk County, NC was born on February 15, 1941. He departed for eternity on September 3,2021 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Henry was known throughout Rutherford and Polk County through his work at Stonecutter, logging of trees, and cutting the grass within the community. He was a very caring and outgoing person. He enjoyed making those around him laugh and having such a great time. Henry was preceded in death by his wife Mattie L. Wilkins, his mother Laura Lee Wilkins, his father Woodrow Miller, his brother, Jim Gray, his sister Melissa Miller, his brother George Miller and his daughter- in- law Angela Wilkins. Henry leaves behind fond memories in the hearts of his three sons Bobby Wilkins, Rutherfordton, NC, James Wilkins, Polk County, NC, and Ray Wilkins, Polk County, NC; one brother, James (Evelyn) Miller, Forest City, NC, three sisters, Shirley Smith, Boston, MA, Doris Crute, Rutherfordton, NC, Mary (Robert Lee) Proctor, Winston-Salem, NC, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, relatives and friends.
