Obituary For Shirley Brown

Shirley Brown 38, of Daytona Beach, Florida (native of Bunnell, Florida) born November 19, 1983 to Joe Brown Jr. and Patricia McCaskell. She attended Flagler Palm Coast High School. Shirley enjoyed singing, cooking large meals and spending time with family. She was employed with Burger King as a shift manager. Shirley was a faithful member of King of Kings Faith Christian Center under the leadership of Pastor’s Michael and Katrina Ellison. In August 2016, she was appointed as a deaconess.

She was preceded in death by her parents Joe Brown Jr. and Patricia McCaskell; sister, Javado Brown.

She leaves to cherish her memories: brother, Joe McCaskell; sisters, Vonda McCaskell, Shana McCaskell, Katrina (Michael) Ellison; uncles, Norman Brown Sr., Ricshay (Ashley) Nelson, Johnny (Arletha) McCaskell; aunts, Priscilla McCaskell, Gloria Wilson, Wilma Brown, Debra (Terence) Steward, Aretha (Zackary) Reddin; grandparents, Betty McCaskell and Joe Brown Sr.; great-aunts, Nettie Hudson, Ella Hudson, Earnestine Hudson, Bobbie Jean Journey, Helen Randolph; great-uncles, Ben (Barbara) Brown Sr., Ivory (Barbara) Brown; godson, Kingdom Pickens; special friends, Clynetta Dawkins, Asia Pickens, and Jackie; and a host of sorrowing nieces, nephews and friends.

Celebration of Life service will be held 12PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at The First Baptist Church - 2301 Commerce Parkway Bunnell, Florida 32110, Rev. Danny Brown, Pastor. Pastor Michael Ellison, eulogist.

I am missing you so much auntie! I did it all plus more with no complaints because you did the same for me. I am grieving everyday! I have a little peace knowing you're not suffering anymore or stressing. Living without you for the rest of my life is something I don't want to do. Wow, I have read this Obituary, several times in disbelief, I will not question god on his work, as it is written that to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord. I know that you are no longer suffering and have left an impression in so many people hearts. you will truly be missed my friend.
