Mrs. Dorothy Parker Boone, age 86 of Hope Mills, NC formerly of Garland, NC departed this life on September 4, 2021.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 10th at 1:00 PM in the Smith Chapel Church, Garland, NC. Burial will follow in Garland Community Cemetery.

Mrs. Boone is survived by: children, Michael (Jacqueline) Boone, Karen Hill, Linda (Jamel) Powell and Amy (Warren) Terry; brother, Thomas (Ida) Parker; twelve grandchildren; five great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 9th from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Summerville-Boykin Mortuary in Garland, NC.
