Mrs. LaTasha Danette Gordon Mayo was born in Richmond County, Georgia to the parentage of Viola Gordon and the late Larry Smith. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12 Noon at New Hope A.M.E. Church Cemetery with MASK AND SOCIAL DISTANCING. Her journey of life ended Sunday, September 5, 2021 at Augusta State University. LaTasha attended Louisville High School but received her GED from Sandersville Technical College in 2006. She worked as a cashier at IGA in Wrens, GA for the past year and a half. LaTasha loved her family and was a devoted mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by one daughter, Christen Gordon.
