A warm and caring soul, Jessie Jinks, known as (Sally) was born on August 27, 1941 to the late Lucille Richardson and Jim Payne. She attended the Jasper County schools. Later, she relocated to New Rochelle, NY. In 1991, he returned to SC to work as a caregiver until her health failed.

She departed this mortal world on Friday, September 3, 2021 in Savannah, Ga.

She leaves fond memories to: her sons: Rodney Heyward of SC, Michael Jinks of GA; her daughters, Kimberly Singleton of SC, Olivia Ford of AL, Jackie Dunston of GA, Tracy Jinks of SC; sisters, Delores Richardson of SC, Donna Richardson, and Laverne Richardson of NJ; brothers, Danny Richardson of Texas, Robert Richardson of SC; 24 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 12, 2021, 3:00 pm in the Chapel of Young Funeral Home, Yemassee, SC.
