Funeral services for James Davis, Jr., will be held on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 10:00 am at West Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 945 Carrie Street, Jacksonville, Florida 32209. Public Visitation will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the mortuary from 5:00pm-8:00pm. Interment in Restlawn Memorial Park South Cemetery.

It was 1999 I was 35 years old and just had surgery, Tyrone and I worked together and my family was back in New Jersey when I looked up from my hospital bed to see the biggest smile looking back at me. It was Mr. Mrs. Davis who came to visit me and to tell me everything was going to be alright. I will always remember that day and his wonderful smile.
