Mr. Stanley Louis "Goat" Moses

Mr. Stanley Louis Moses, affectionately known as “Goat,” was born in Concord, Pike County, Georgia on May 25, 1960, to the late Deacon Charlie J. Love, Sr. and the late Mary Helen Moses Love. At an early age, he accepted Christ as his Savior and united with a local church. Stanley received his education in the Pike County School System and graduated from Pike County High School in 1978. While in high school, he was active in sports, playing both basketball and football. After high school, he was active in sports, playing both basketball and football. After high school, he served his country by enlisting in the U. S. Army. Stanley was very humble, loving and funny. He enjoyed life’s simple pleasures such as being in the outdoors and fishing; he also loved to play spades. His love for sports continued throughout adulthood as he loved the Braves, Hawks, Falcons and the Georgia Bulldogs. On Thursday, September 2, 2021, the Lord decided it was time for Stanley to end his earthly journey. His name was called, he answered and entered into eternal rest.

Stanley leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Mrs. Burnette (Michael) Mathis of Columbia, SC, and Ms. Brenda Love of Molena, GA; brothers, Mr. Charlie (Sabrina) Love, Jr. of Williamson, GA, Mr. Chester Love of Lithonia, GA, and Mr. Lester Love of Lithonia, GA; three aunts, Minister Gail Moses of Hinesville, GA; Pastor Sherry (Gregory) Gerrell of Hinesville, GA, and Mrs. Lizzie Moses of Concord, GA; a devoted cousin Alexis Alford of Columbus, GA; a special friend, Ms. Bridget Hancock; five nephews, two nieces; three great nephews; three great nieces; and a host of cousins and friends that will miss him dearly.
