I got to know Donta through work, and it didn't take long to realize that he was a special person. He had a quick smile, an even quicker mind, and just the right amount of sarcastic humor. Donta was an old soul with big dreams and a mind that wanted to learn about everything. Soft spoken, goal driven, and thoughtful. You just knew that if anyone was going to change the world, Donta could. I will miss our deep conversations in the Lab on lunch breaks. Thanks for your friendship. It was far too brief, but I will appreciate it always. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family. Much love to you all.

We watched a little boy grow up to a charming young man. We will miss our talks standing at the fence between our houses, With the latest taking place just a few weeks ago when we talked about you purchasing a home for yourself. We will miss your infectious smile and all your back yard adventures. Each day we walked out back we looked to see what the new invention of the day would be. You never disappointed. We are deeply saddened from your loss and you will be greatly missed but know that your greatest adventure has just begun. With deepest sympathy your loving neighbors Mark and Bobbie Miller
