Mr. Dalien Marquez Currie, 20, of Ocean Springs, MS departed life on September 8, 2021. He was born February 13, 2001 in Pascagoula, MS.

He was a loving son, brother, grandson, nephew, and cousin.

Dalien was preceded in death by his grandfather, Fred Wiley of Biloxi, MS; aunts, Minister Valarie Sewer and aunt Sheila Tate; and his uncle, Steve Ward of Grand Bay, AL.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother and father, Christine (Marcus) Bass-Triplett of Ocean Springs, MS and Steven Currie Sr. of Laurel, MS, brothers, Steven Currie Jr and Christian Bass of Ocean Springs, MS, Darnell Bass, Kevin Bass, Nicholas Bass, Alonzo Miller, Miguel Miller, Eric Weathersby, and Aretrous Weathersby of Pascagoula, MS, Dwayne Bass, Christopher Myers, Elbert Rogers III, Donathan Myers, and Raymond Lias of Biloxi, MS and Marcus Stamp of Ocean Springs, MS; sisters, Nafasha Miller of Houston, TX, Kenya Lias and Destiny Rogers of Biloxi, MS; grandparents, Minnie Wiley of Biloxi, MS and Malcolm (Doris) Currie, Sr. of Laurel, MS; aunts, Carolyn (Elbert) Rogers Jr. and Melanie (James) Bass-Brice of Pascagoula, MS, Jacqueline (Eric) Weathersby of Pascagoula, MS, Freda Wiley of Pritchard, AL, Mallette Wells of Grand Bay, AL and Yolanda Currie Mitchell of Grand Bay, AL; uncles, Frederick (Kandice) Bass of Gulfport, MS, Bruce (Amanda) Wiley of Charlotte, NC and Derrick Laymond of Milwaukee, WI, Stacey Ward, Patrick Ward and Samuel Jackson of Grand Bay, AL and Malcolm (Katrina) Currie, Jr. of Moss Point, MS; three great-aunts, Thelma Jones of Letohatchee, AL, Rosie Red and Tara Wiley of Moss Point, MS and a host of devoted and dedicated cousins and friends.

Viewing will be from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, September 17, 2021 in Millender's Funeral Chapel; 4412 Main Street, Moss Point, Mississippi.

Graveside services will be at 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 18, 2021 in Scranton Cemetery; Old Mobile Highway, Pascagoula, Mississippi.
