Obituary For Dorothy Alston

Mrs. Dorothy Alston 87, of Warrenton, North Carolina departed this life on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Maria Parham Hospital.

Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, September 19, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Boyd & Royster Funeral Services 149 Holland Bland Road Warrenton, North Carolina The Reverend Ebony Talley Brame will officiate and burial will follow in the Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery.

Dorothy leaves behind to cherish her memory: her loving husband William P. Alston, Jr.; Five children: Ronnie Alston, Francine Alston, Quentin Alston, Jeffrey (Martha) Alston, Zaneta Boyd, (God Daughter) Tootie Lyons; Eight grandchildren: Amy(Derek) Davis, Zaneta “Nikki”(Calvin) Allen, Jessica Alston, Kevin Alston, Bria Yates, Quenclyn Alston, Justin Boyd, Mone’e Boyd; Four great-grandchildren: Samaria Davis, Simone Davis, Amare Davis, Brooklyn Alston; Three brothers, Lee (Pat) Thrower, Claudine (Jessie) Robinson, Willie “Junior” Thrower; three sisters, Geraldine (John) Hargrove, Cora Eva (James) Boyd, and Veronica (Don) Pickett; two brother in-laws James (Rose) Alston, James Garner; one sister in-law Freda Alston; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
