Timothy Edward Whitfield

Tallahassee - Timothy Edward Whitfield, was born November 3, 1961, to Nathaniel Whitfield II and Priscilla L. Whitfield in Tallahassee, Florida.

Timothy E Whitfield went home to be with the lord September 8, 2021. Timothy, a long time resident of Tallahsee, Florida, is a member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church and East Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Amos P. Godby High school in the class of 1979.

He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. who served honorably.

He was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother and uncle.

Graveside service will be 10 AM Friday, September 17, 2021 at the Tallahassee National Cemetery located at 5015 Apalachee Pkwy, Tallahassee, Florida 32311.

Viewing will be Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 10 AM to 6 PM at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.

Survivors include, two sons, Devynn Whitfield and Travis Whitfield; two grandchildren, Melissa and Angel Whitfield; his mother, Priscilla L. Whitfield; three sisters, Barbara L. Simmons, Debra D. Moore, and Phyllis E. Evans; four brothers, Nathaniel Whitfield II, Charles Whitfield, Austin Whitfield, and Jerome Evans; devoted Niece/daughter, Carla S. Whitfield Fields; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
