Tallahassee - Wendell Alexander Ervin "Cooney Boy", 58, died Thursday, September 9, 2021.

Graveside service will be 12 (Noon) FRIDAY, September 17, 2021 at Greater St. Mark P.B. Church Cemetery (Lake Jackson), 5820 N. Monroe St. Viewing will from 10 AM to 6 PM Thursday, September 16, 2021 at Strong & Jones Funeral Home.

Mr. Ervin was a 1981 graduate of Amos P. Godby High School and has worked numerous of jobs in his prior years.

His love and memories will be cherished forever by his mother, Shadie Mae Dickey Ervin; his loving companion, Cynthia Benson; four brothers, Gregory Ervin (Connie), Terry Mitchell, Brian Mitchell (Latina) and Jeremy Mitchell; three sisters, Sherry Ervin-Stephens (Albert), Sharon Ervin and Sonya Ervin and a host of other relatives and friends.
