Obituary For Linda Haugabook Kaleem

On December 16, 1957, in Oglethorpe, GA, Linda was introduced to the world as the first girl born to Oscar and Maurine Haugabook. Linda was the second of ten (six boys and four girls) born to the union of Oscar and Maurine. As a young girl Linda moved with her parents to Fort Pierce, Florida, where she and siblings were raised.

Linda attended schools in the St. Lucie School district and entered the workforce at an early age. Linda worked in varying professions until settling at Publix until her health began to decline in recent years. Linda enjoyed entertaining her family with family gatherings and cookouts filled with fun, games, laughter and good food. Linda loved to cook. Linda loved the Lord, her kids and her grandkids.

Linda was deeply loved by her family and friends. She departed this life quietly on September 6, 2021 to begin a new life eternal. Linda was preceded in death by; her Father, Oscar Haugabook, Sr., Grand-parents, Oscar & Delia Haugabook and T. W. & Essie Mae Walker, and Nephews, Tracy Durant and Joseph Haugabook.

Left to cherish her precious memories is: her Children, Tiffany (John) Brunson, Latricia Haugabook, Leonard Haugabook, Victoria Haugabook, Harold Albury, step-son, Octavian Hall; her Mother, Maurine Haugabook; Siblings, Willie (MaryAnn) Haugabook, Shelly Blaise, Jerome (Rhonda) Haugabook, Joe (Tammy) Haugabook, Cornell (Andrea) Haugabook, Debra Haugabook, JoAnn Haugabook, Michael (Deja) Haugabook, Allen Haugabook; Grand-children; Montii Phillips, Jr. Javis Whithead, Jr. Leonard Haugabook, Jr., Sa’Miyah Ancrum, Cherish Haugabook, John Brunson, Jr., Hentrez Ancrum, Jr., Messiah Ancrum and Alantae Robinson as well as a host of grieving uncles, aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends too numerous to mention.

Public visitation for Linda Haugabook Kaleem will take place on Friday, September 17, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Stone Brothers Funeral Home in Fort Pierce, FL. Funeral services will convene on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Full Gospel Church Of Deliverance in Fort Pierce, FL beginning at 11:00am. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Although many venues have opened and the restrictions of COVID-19 have been relaxed, we at Stone Brothers Funeral Homes are still enforcing the guidelines set forth by the CDC and FDOH to protect our families and our staff.
