Obituary For Ozella Burgess

Ozella Burgess, 91 of Garner, NC passed on September 12, 2021 at WakeMed in Raleigh, NC. Mrs. Burgess is survived by a son, Gilbert Anthony Burgess of Garner, NC and a daughter, Alishia Gail Gadsden of Albermarle, NC; grandchildren Michael Shawn Burgess and Matthew Xavier Marshall, both of Garner, NC. She is also mourned by nieces Semaria Robinson (Philadelphia, PA), Vonita Faye Craft (Washington, DC), Kim Davis (NY), Tamera Allaway (NJ); nephews James McNeill (Raleigh), Deacon Sherwood Williams (Raleigh), Rodney Williams (Raleigh), Johnny Davis, Jr.; great niece Toya McNeill-Suggs (Raleigh), Mariah Williams (Raleigh), Jahi Cornelius (Raleigh), Shequra Clinding (Raleigh), Sherron Montgomery (Raleigh), Naomi Williams (Raleigh), Penelope Williams (Raleigh), Zaria Williams (Raleigh); great nephew Daryl McNeill (Raleigh), Xavier Montgomery (Raleigh), Clevon Baldwin (Raleigh), Ron Melvin Williams (Raleigh); grandniece Sha Williams; grandnephew Shakai Ruffin; one brother-in-law Johnny Davis Sr.; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526, with no more than 10 individuals inside at one time.

Funeral will be held 12:00 pm Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at Trice Funeral Home Chapel, 127 N. West Street in Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526.

Burial: Historic Oakwood Cemetery in Raleigh, NC

Mask are required in order to attend the visitation or funeral service.
