Obituary For Haiishen McIntyre

Haiishen McIntyre, 27, of Charlotte, NC, transitioned into eternal life on Friday, September 3, 2021 in Charlotte. He was born in Philadelphia, PA, son of Hausheen Allah McIntyre and Arlene (Harmon) McIntyre, a 2012 graduate of Harrisburg High where he was an honor roll student and an All-State basketball player. In the voice of his high school coach, “He was just a good kid.” This is a kid that did everything he was told to do. He got good grades and stayed out of trouble.” In 2019, Haiishen was named to PennLive’s Mid-Penn Boys basketball all-decade team. He averaged 24.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and five assists per game as a senior and finished his career with the Cougars with 1,186 points. He was also a member of The National Honor Society. And that resume was good enough to get him a scholarship to High Point University in Charlotte, NC, where he studied business administration and played four seasons. In a 2016 “Panther Portrait” that High Point produced, he discussed his love for his family, fashion, academics and his hopes for the future. After graduating from High Point University, he remained in Charlotte and was working. Haiishen leaves to celebrate his life and legacy, his parents, Hausheen and Arlene McIntyre; his sister, and brother-in-law Tiffany and Michael Stanton; his brothers, Gregory Cross and Wayne Griffin and a host of other relatives and friends. His life will be celebrated on Saturday, September 18 at 11:15 a.m. in the Sanctuary of Living Water Community Church, 206 Oakleigh Ave. with viewing from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. and burial in Paxtang Cemetery. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and social distancing for all attendees. www.majorhwinfieldfuneralhome.com
