Nivia Sade-Mariyah Danner, age 14, of Hickory, NC, abruptly passed away on September 14, 2021 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia, NC. She was born March 1, 2007 to Deandura Danner and the late Leon Bradshaw.

Nivia was a social butterfly, to know her was to love her. Her smile brightened the gloomiest days. Her life-long passion was singing, dancing and enjoying spending time with family. Most of all, she loved her niece, Ava. She attended Destiny Church where she served diligently on the dance team, praise team and attended many youth trips. She was dedicated to serving in any capacity to honor God’s work.

She was preceded in death by her father: Leon Bradshaw from Statesville, NC; great grandmother: Mrs. Ernestine Danner Jenkins and Commodore Danner from Newton, NC, Virginia Parks and E. P. Parks of Shelby, NC; and great aunt: Anne and Dorman Pompey from Shelby, NC.

She leaves her memories to treasure to her mother: Deandura Danner of the home; brother: Isaiah Danner of the home and her twin brother: Lemarion Danner of the home and grandparents: Terry and Jeannie Danner of Claremont, NC; uncle Mario and Selena Danner of Newton, NC, Uncle Tyree Parks of Washington, DC; one and only niece: Ava Danner of Charlotte, NC; Godmother: Ketta Byrd of Newton, NC and her long time childhood friend: Shanayla Williams along with a host of other great aunts, great uncles, cousins and friends.

Viewing at the funeral home on Saturday; September 18, 2021 from 2 until 6

Funeral: Sunday; September 19, 2021; Destiny Church, Gastonia at 4:00

Visitation: one hour before the service at 3:00

Interment: Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia
