George Bennett King Jr

Knoxville - George Bennett King Jr- age 75 of Knoxville TN went home to be with his heavenly father Saturday September 11, 2021. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was preceded in death by his wife Wilma King, grandson Jordan Griffin, and daughter Orteesha Favors. He leaves to cherish his memories: daughters; Idella(Dominic) and Mohnika, sons Jayson(Brittney) and William (Cheree); 8 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

The family of Mr George King wish to express thanks and appreciation to the Neuro/ Stroke team at UT HOSPITAL 7TH Floor, especially Dr Kerr and nurses. May God continue to bless you.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 p.m until 5:00 p.m. at the Unity Mortuary Chapel with the Celebration of Life Service to begin at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Robert Barnett Sr., officiating.

The final resting place will be held at the TN Veterans Cemetery (Lyons View Pike) on Friday, September 17, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. where there will be full military honors and a dove release to conclude the service.
