Obituary For Reverend Michael Earl Lee

Reverend Michael Earl Lee, 67, of 1016 Mechanic St., New Bern died Sunday, September 19, 2021 at his residence.

Viewing hours are 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Oscar's Mortuary. The service may be viewed on Oscar's Mortuary Facebook Page.

His service is 12:00 PM, Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Church of Faith and Deliverance, 655 Sussex Drive, Kinston, NC. The interment will follow at New Bern Memorial Cemetery with military honors.

He is survived by his wife, Docia Mayfield Lee of the home; three sons, Michael Angelo Lee, Columbia, SC, Michael Lee, Kansas City, MO and Kevin Mayfield, New Bern; five daughters, Nichole Carruth, Omaha, Nebraska, Angela Pillow, Lincoln, Nebraska, Annie Coples, Kinston, NC,Tina Willis, Jacksonville, NC, Doretha Jones, New Bern; two brothers, Jimmie Lee, New Bern, NC and Terrance Lee, Mobile, AL; four sisters,Cynthia Inge, Annie Roberts, Janice Jackson all of San Bernardino, CA and Cassandra Harris, Fort Worth, TX; twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.

Masks are required and social distancing will be followed.

Docia my family, you guys will always hold love in my heart. I am still in shock and my heat has lost a beat. I am sending my love and prayers to the entire family. Docia I am loss for words but Lee is at peace because, being absence from the body is present with the Lord. His purpose here was well done. His life spoke for him. I had Covid when Lee pasted. I try to stay as safe as possible because God spared me one again. Annie I have no one to tell about you now. What am I going to do now?
