Obituary For Rosetta Wilson

Rosetta Wilson was born in Sanderson, Florida on May 10, 1929, to Shade and Kate Williams. She was raised in Hastings, Florida. She rededicated her life at an early age. During her early years she was a farm worker. She was married to the love of her life John “Pope” Wilson, and unto this union they raised two daughters. Rosetta was also known as Ms. Sister, she enjoyed spending time with her family including fishing with her cousin and friend Ms. Willie Mae Verdell. She was always eager to help anyone she met.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by daughter, Loretta (Coot) Moore of Hastings, Florida.

Rosetta Wilson leaves to cherish her memories her loving daughter, Shirley Ann Wilson of Hastings, Florida; Grandchildren, Brian (Chrishane) Wilson-McCall of Orange Park, Florida, Breyah (Mike) Wilson of St. Augustine, Florida; Great-grandchildren: Leiani, Brian Jr. and Bridgett Wilson-McCall all of Orange Park, Florida; Two sisters in laws; and a host of other extended family members, loving nieces, nephews, cousins and god-children whom she loved deeply.

The wake services will be held 5:00 - 7:30 on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Felix Coleman's Memorial Chapel 139 N. Main St. Hastings, Florida 32145.

The Celebration of Life for Ms. Rosetta Wilson will be held 11:00 A.M. - Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Pompey's Temple Church of God 611 Pompey Miller St Hastings, Florida 32145 Elder Randall Chestnut, Pastor.
