Obituary For Johnny McCaskell

Johnny McCaskell was born on September 4, 1958 to Johnnie and Betty McCaskell in Bunnell, Florida. On October 23, 1981 Johnny married the love of his life Arleatha McCaskell, and unto this union they spent 39 years in love. He was well known for his auto mechanic skills and he was passionate about his work. This labor of love allowed Johnny to dedicate over 50 years in Flagler County as an auto mechanic. In his leisure time he enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing, and collecting model cars. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his sister, Patricia McCaskell; brother, Donnell McCaskell; and aunt, Geraldine Dunn. Johnny leaves to cherish his memories his loving and devoted wife, Arleatha McCaskell; mother, Betty McCaskell; sons, Johnny McCaskell and Alfred Deon Laster; sisters, Priscilla McCaskell, Gloria McCaskell-Wilson, Debra Steward (Terrence), Aretha Reddin (Zachery); aunt, Helen Randolph; sisters-in-law, Diann McClain and Bonita Robinson (Joseph); brothers-in-law, Calvin Grant (Maxine) and David Grant (Gloria); 4 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and sorrowing friends.

The McCaskell family will receive the community for wake services 12:00 P.M. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at First Baptist Church 2301 Commerce Parkway Bunnell, FL 32210.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 2, 2021 at First Baptist Church 2301 Commerce Parkway Bunnell, FL 32210. Interment will follow in Masonic Cemetery.

I will always carry you in my heart and the kind words you spoken to me. I will always remember how you and Uncle taught me how to work on my own cars and how had that hess gas truck and race track when you were young.
