Kenneth Dean Corbitt, 70, of Berryhill St., Harrisburg, transitioned into eternal life on Monday, September 20, 2021 in the peace and love of his home. He was born in Reidsville, NC, son of the late Amos and Mary L. (Totten) Corbitt, received his education in the Steelton-Highspire School District, retired from the City of Harrisburg and also worked for Globe Security. Butch had other aliases “Bishop and Cabbage.” He was a fun-loving individual. He loved his daily walks which he called his “Constitutional.” He also loved watching the Sci-Fi Channel and eating peanut butter. In addition to his parents, Kenneth was preceded by his favorite and beloved Aunt, Daisy Wright “Amox”; his uncles, John Totten “Ben”, James Totten, Sr. “Buster”; his sister, Vickie Griffin; his brother, John Corbitt and his nephew, Dwight Griffin and he leaves to cherish a loving legacy: his sisters, Chaplain Amery Weaver and Brenda Magill; his brother, Earlie Corbitt; his niece, April (Corbitt) Viney (Paul), Rhonda Tobey and Shelley Tobey; his nephews, Kenneth Corbitt, Nathaniel Corbitt (Phylis) and John Weaver, who was his devoted caretaker for many years; James Griffin, Earlie Corbitt, Jr. and David Corbitt. His life will be celebrated on Monday, September 27 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Major H. Winfield Funeral Home, Steelton with visitation from 10:30 until 11:00 a.m. Live Streaming of the service will be available on Major H. Winfield Funeral Home’s YouTube page. COVID-19 Guidelines will be observed with face masks and social distancing for all attendees.
