Obituary For Marsha Thomas

A celebration of life will be held for Marsha J. Thomas on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 1:00p.m. at Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, 2101 Lowe Street, Tampa, Fl. 33605, with Rev. Dr. Glenn B. Dames Sr. of Allen Temple A.M.E. Church, officiating. Marsha J. (Minniefield) Thomas was born on January 13, 1954 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Wallace Minniefield Sr. and Lillian Minniefield. She was educated in the New Jersey school system and graduated from Henry Snyder High School. Marsha began working at Wonderland Fashion and H&R Block. In 1989, Marsha moved her family to Tampa, Fl. where she began her new life. Marsha enjoyed music and dancing. She co-hosted on WMNFs 88.5 "Soul Party" with the C&C Ladies. Marsha was preceded in death by Wallace Minniefield Sr., Lillian Minniefield, and Wallace Minniefield Jr. Marsha leaves her cherished memories with her children: Markeia Jackson, Marshaun Thomas, Marquay Thomas, Markeem Thomas, Markesh Thomas; siblings: Bernard Minniefield, Joya Thompson; 5 grandchildren: Marcellus Jackson, Marlycia Jackson, Frederick Jackson Jr., Mariana Highsmith, Malaysia Thomas,1 great-granddaughter: Marlani Jackson" The funeral will be streamed live on the church's website for those who can not attend. MASK ARE MANDATORY FOR ALL SERVICES. NO MASK, NO ENTRY.

Miss Marsha I did not know you all that well but when I did meet you after having Markeem you remind me of myself quiet sweet and humble after Markesh was born I got to meet with her and she is the love of my life I love her like she's my own daughter she's sweet kind and beautiful and always hugs me whenever she sees me. You will be missed but not forgotten. Rest well my love.
