Obituary For George Roper Jr.

The relatives and friends of the late Mr. George Roper are all invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service, Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Hebron Zion Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 4058 Besty Kerrison Parkway, Johns Island, SC at 11:00 AM. The viewing for Mr. George Roper Jr. will be held this evening, Friday, October 1, 2021, from 3pm until 7 pm at Walker's Mortuary Chapel. Mr. George Roper Jr. was born on Wadmalaw Island, South Carolina on July 25, 1957 to his loving parents George Sr. and Elnora Roper. George attended St Johns High where he played in the band. George worked for Parker Marine Construction Company until his health declined. He was a member of Hebron Zion Presbyterian Church on Johns Island SC. His favorite hobbies included watching his favorite football team, Pittsburg Steelers, grilling for his family and friends, hosting family events at his home and going fishing with his cousin/brother Mr. James Mitchell of Wadmalaw Island, SC. He leaves to cherish his fond memories with his children, Imanni Wes Roper, George Roper III, Tyreen Roper, and Tonishia Brown. His parents, George and Elnora Roper, Fiancé, Ms. Theodora Patterson, Sisters: Ruthie Simmons, Angelean Foogy, Karen Taylor(John), Claudia Wittrell(Isaiah), Goddaughter (Little Caregiver), Tamia Owens, aunts: Sarah Butler, Shirley Robinson(Joe), and Martha Frasier, Uncles: John Mitchell Sr. and Paul Mitchell, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. I worked with George 10 to 15 years come to find out he used to work with my dad at moredrugs he was One of the kindest giants I've ever met Big George memories are forever so happy to be able to No you and work with you...... I know you're in a good place now rest in peace brother
