Obituary For Mr. Daniel Sims, Jr.

Mr. Daniel Sims, Jr. of Wewahitcha, Florida and formerly of Port St. Joe, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, September 20th in the Gulf Coast Medical Center. He was 68 years old.

Daniels leaves to cherish his memories, a dedicated and loving wife of 46 years, Betty Sims; Children: Daniel (Octavia) Sims III, Kendrick ( Wendy) Sims, and Christopher (Angie) Sims; Grandchildren: Kendrick Jr, Kimberly, Joshua, Demarcus, and Brysin; Brother: Thomas (Carolyn) Sims Sr.; Sisters: Nancy Sims, Annie Sims, Cynthia (Frankie) Williams, and Deloris Sims; Sister in laws: Emma (Elijah) Dawson, Carolyn Miller, and Romona Sims; Brother in law: Jessie Ray (Deloris) Myers; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, uncle, caring neighbors and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held graveside Saturday, September 25th at 1:00p.m. at Buckhorn Cemetery in Wewahitchka with Rev. Leon Jones officiating. Interment will follow with arrangements entrusted to the Caring Staff at Battle Mortuary of Panama CIty, FL
