Guest Book

October 9, 2021 Victor I didn't find out until today that you had to leave us last month. If only I thought I wouldn't talk to you anymore after you warned me to stay in Texas when Hurricane Ida was on its way to Louisiana. I never thought that would be our last conversation. You told me that I had one job to do; call you when I made it home. I'm hurting so bad. We met online when you were still stationed in Germany and beautiful friendship. It was a pleasure every time we talked. I will always cherish the memories we shared. πŸ˜ͺπŸ˜ͺ I'm going to miss you so much. Mardi Gras won't be the same because you won't be there. I will miss our conversations. Love you Vic and always will. See you on the other side. Get your rest sweetie. Sending Love, Prayers and Heartfelt Condolences to the family, and the family that he coached. I will never forget him. πŸ’”πŸ’”πŸ’” JoAnn Frazier New Orleans, LA

πŸ’” I really don't know where to begin....you've always been a gentleman, loving, caring, giving, positive individuals throughout the years I've known you. Offering a sense of security, trust, & loyalty! My daughter instantly gravitated to you and she's so reserved & humble. It was something about you that brought things out of her I definitely loved and appreciated. If she wasn't running with Uncle Vic and Hawk then she wasn't running. You even intervene, when I would get on to her for not pushing, etc., as her protector against me her MOTHER lol. I always let y'all have the moment because it was pointless for me to try to fuss. She loved you and trusted so much and that moved me in so many ways! My son will definitely miss climbing all over the batmobile as he called it! I will miss the random checkins to see how each other are doing, being forced to assistant coach year after year, the red velvet cakes, the positive energy, the love/binding friendship, the bear hugs so many knew oh so well! This is a big break in the heart that will take some time to mend. I'm praying for you to be able to rest peacefully! πŸ™πŸΎβ€οΈ πŸ•Š

Vic, I just want to say I love you bro. We have known each other since 1996 and from the day we met you impacted my life. You were the closest person outside of my immediate family. You always had my back and you would help anyone in need. You were genuinely a great father, friend, and a person. You have impacted so many people in your life and you will always remain in our hearts and minds. You will be missed brother. Rest in Peace.

Vic was a very special, kindhearted man with a heart of gold. May God bless and keep you all?

My condolences to the Dortch family. Vic and I had a special bond that we shared over 20 plus years. Life took us in different directions throughout the years. But somehow the love we carried for each other would always bring us back together no matter what. He was a remarkable man that was willing to step up once again and take on two more responsibilities and love them as his own. This man has been with me through a lot of troubling times. I truly thank him for his prayers, motivational talks, listening ear, shoulder to cry on, bear hugs, and for letting me know he love me even while fighting for his life. You will truly be missed and will always have a part of my heart πŸ’™πŸ•Š.
